Student Chapters
The Student Chapters of the Initiative on Forensic Geology (IFG) are formed by undergraduate and graduate students in Geological, Geophysical, Geodetic or Oceanographic Sciences and who have a great interest in deepening their knowledge and skills in the area. Representing the IFG within universities, the groups have as one of their objectives the dissemination of Forensic Geosciences so that more and more new students get to know and identify with this field.
Through the guidance of professors and forensic experts, the aim is to encourage discussion, learning and scientific research on various topics in Forensic Geosciences, and bring students closer to the forensic routine. Among the activities carried out are the organization of lectures and courses, presentations of works, technical visits, discussion of scientific articles and incentives for academic research.
